:
As an IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the bank’s network, data centers, physical and virtual hardware and software, cloud systems, storage, and backup solutions. This role involves close collaboration with senior IT staff and management. In a fast-paced environment, the IT Systems Administrator uses their knowledge and tools to provide end-user support and training for advanced technical needs, while also working on projects and tasks to support the bank’s initiatives. Additionally, this position ensures compliance with industry security and regulatory standards, including those set by the bank, state, FDIC, and other audit standards, and assists in maintaining network disaster recovery policies and procedure

Maintaining essential IT operations including operating systems, security tools, and applicati - ons.Maintaining internal infrastructure health and security including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access poi
- nts.System maintenance and monitoring to ensure data and systems are protected from unauthorized access and cyber thre
- ats.Performing IT certifications and revi
- ews.Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network iss
- ues.Collaborating with vendors, service providers and senior IT staff to address complex technical probl
- ems.Providing documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastruct
- ure.Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedu
- res.Acting as an escalation point for the Service Desk t
- eam.Reporting any system downtime, difficulties, or problems to management as necess
- ary.Providing emergency technical support outside of regular banking hours as necess
- ary.Acting as a liaison between departments to help resolve and escalate issues as requi
red.
What You Bring to the
- Team:
You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related area or relevant exper - ience.You have a minimum 4 years of experience in network or system administr
- ation.You have working knowledge of Hyper-V and failover clust
- ering.You have a strong proficiency in network protocols, subnetting, VLANs, routing protocols, and sec
- urity.You are skilled in client and server operating systems, Active Directory, SQL, Entra ID, Azure, PowerShell, and Offic
- e 365.You have demonstrated ability to quickly and accurately diagnose problems and develop solutions under pressure while maintaining a positive att
- itude.You are capable of understanding and adapting to new techn
- ology.You work with minimal supervision and have excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making s
- kills.You have strong interpersonal skills including professional etiquette and service ment
- ality.You are skilled at business communication, both verbal and wr
- itten.You have a strong professional demeanor and uphold confidentiality at all
- times.You can travel to other Peoples Bank locations and off-site for meetings and/or training as req
