Job Summary
The System Administrator implements and supports facility and regional systems, serving as a technical resource to respond to incidents and requests reported to the Service Desk. They resolve issues and implement technical solutions while developing and maintaining strong, positive working relationships with relevant customer departments. The System Administrator ensures that systems operate correctly, are used appropriately, and perform according to specifications.
Essential Functions
- Maintains and documents all problems, resolutions and other pertinent information.
- Responds and resolves hardware and software problems in a timely manner.
- Provides on-call support during non-scheduled hours (according to on-call rotation schedule) to assist departments with hardware and software problems.
- Maintains familiarities with different information systems throughout the enterprise.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams.
- Promotes system security and patient confidentiality and helps ensure compliance.
- Participates with peers within the corporate communities to identify and evaluate best practices, packaging and promoting cross-region best practice efforts. Coordinates the sharing of best practice models, and policies & procedures related systems.
- Ability to perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field preferred
- 2-4 years of system administrator or related experience required
