We are looking for a Systems Administrator to serve as a key member of our IT support team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-tech environment and brings hands-on technical expertise. You will also be responsible for provisioning equipment, managing onsite servers, and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Tier 2/3 escalation point for complex support issues and incidents.
- Provision and manage laptops and mobile devices for new and existing staff, ensuring secure configuration and deployment. (Intune/JAMF)
- Administer and maintain onsite servers, including patch management, backups, hardware diagnostics, and lifecycle planning.
- Deliver expert-level troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile operating systems.
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, VPN access, endpoint protection, and user permissions.
- Monitor and support internal network infrastructure (switches, firewalls, wireless APs, etc.).
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes with HR and department leads.
- Maintain IT documentation, asset inventories, and support knowledge base.
- Participate in or lead IT projects aimed at improving efficiency, security, and user experience.
- Manage onsite technology, alarms, electronic access card system and related infrastructure.
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and data protection best practices.
- Actively contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and cross-team collaboration.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4+ years in an IT support/help desk role.
- Strong experience provisioning and managing Windows and macOS laptops.
- Hands-on experience managing physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux).
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, allowlisting, and endpoint protection.
- Comfortable supporting users in a mixed OS environment (Windows/macOS/Linux).
- Proficient in networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, VPNs).
- Strong communication skills with a proactive and customer-first mindset.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth, security-focused company.
- Scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) are a plus.
- Industry certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, or similar) are preferred.
What We Offer:
We don’t think money is everything, but we know it is an important part of your decision to apply for a role. This position has a salary range of USD $95,000-$115,000. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
