Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to support our client advisory and investment activities. This is an ideal role for an early career professional with a strong interest in national security, venture capital, and emerging defense technologies. The Analyst will play a critical role in research, diligence, and strategic execution across both client and internal initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct in-depth market research on emerging defense and civil technologies.
· Support due diligence efforts, including technical vetting, regulatory research, and policy landscape analysis.
· Track and analyze government grants, contracts, and R&D funding opportunities.
· Assist in drafting strategic memos, pitch materials, and briefing documents.
· Help manage internal systems such as CRMs and research databases.
· Engage in targeted startup sourcing and outreach activities.
· Contribute to financial modeling, portfolio analysis, and fund tracking efforts.
· Collaborate closely with senior team members on client deliverables and advisory projects.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree required; preferred fields include Finance, Economics, Political Science, or International Affairs.
· 0–2 years of relevant experience, including internships in:
- Defense startups or accelerators
- Government or policy think tanks
- Consulting or banking with exposure to national security or defense
· Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
· Interest in venture capital, defense innovation, and national security policy.
· Experience with financial modeling and presentation development is a plus.
· Prior military service is valued but not required.
· U.S. citizenship is required.
