HJI Supply Chain Solutions is seeking an IT Applications Analyst to join our growing IT team. This role bridges the gap between business systems, end-user experience, and technology infrastructure by supporting integration projects, maintaining system performance, and ensuring alignment with compliance frameworks. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to connect enterprise platforms (ERP, WMS, E-commerce, SaaS, CMMC, etc.), resolve technical issues, and identify opportunities for improved process efficiency and automation.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between internal and third-party systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, E-commerce, SaaS, CMMC,).
- Collaborate with Engineering, System Admins, and business units to support implementation of new systems and enhancements.
- Serve as a liaison between internal users and external vendors to ensure smooth data flow and system performance.
- Support end-users across departments with system access, configurations, and application troubleshooting.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining integration points, including API, EDI, SFTP processes, and data pipelines.
- Document integration workflows and maintain up-to-date process documentation and system architecture diagrams.
- Provide technical support for production issues and application incidents, escalating when appropriate.
- Participate in project planning for IT-driven initiatives related to automation, system optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Assist with IT certification related compliance efforts by identifying system risks, supporting secure data handling practices, and collaborating with the IT Director on mitigation strategies.
- Contribute to evaluating new tools and technologies to meet operational and customer-facing needs.
- Travel to local sites as needed to provide on-site IT support, troubleshooting issues, and assist with system deployments or upgrades
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a systems, IT, or technical support role involving application or integration responsibilities.
- Familiarity with system communication protocols (API, SFTP, SQL, EDI).
- Working knowledge of databases and scripting/query tools (SQL, Oracle, Python).
- Experience supporting or configuring business applications such as ERP or WMS.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across technical and functional areas.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities independently. Must have reliable transportation and be available to travel to various local sites as needed to support business operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, or order fulfillment environments.
- Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms (e.g., Celigo, Opentext, Maraki, Sophos, Postman, Zoey).
- Experience supporting E-commerce platforms or web-based customer portals.
- Previous involvement in cybersecurity compliance, system audits, or access management.
- Exposure to or understanding of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) in regulated or government-influenced environments.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Identifying those standardization gaps while developing strategic processes for measured success. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
