A growth-stage technology company in the Philadelphia area is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead all aspects of its software engineering, product development, and technical strategy. This is an on-site role and requires regular in-person presence at the company’s headquarters in the Philadelphia area.
Key Responsibilities- Set the technical vision and roadmap in partnership with the CEO and executive team
- Oversee all software development and product engineering efforts, including architecture, design, QA, and DevOps
- Scale engineering processes to support product innovation, customer delivery, and system stability
- Build and mentor a high-performing development team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
- Evaluate and implement best practices for security, compliance, data management, and system performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product, customer success, and operations to align technical solutions with business goals
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
Ideal Candidate Profile- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in a technology leadership role
- Strong track record of leading development teams in a SaaS environment
- Deep experience with modern tech stacks and scalable architectures
- Demonstrated ability to build process and structure in a high-growth or entrepreneurial setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
