BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to be responsible for the delivery of IT service and projects for operations and shall ensure end-to-end delivery of services based on Government-approved ITSM processes. The Operations Manager shall lead the analysis, planning, and implementation of ITSM initiatives in support of United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) operations and ensure its alignment with ITIL approaches. The Operations Manager shall identify IT operational requirements, provide day-to-day leadership and quality control, and provide expertise to continually improve the USACE implementation of ITIL practices with the goal of exceeding performance objectives and reducing costs and schedule. Additionally, the Operations Manager shall ensure that all USACE-supported devices and systems are configured and have installed the latest patches to meet all cybersecurity and operational requirements.
The supported program provides enterprise IT services for USACE, including program management, IT infrastructure and shared services, general IT, cybersecurity services, engineering design, telecommunications services, emergency response, transformation, and surge/special projects capability and support.
This position is located on-site at the Government Accountability Office (GAO) Building in Washington, D.C.. The performance of IT operations is at multiple locations within CONUS and OCONUS (e.g., the territories of Guam, the Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, and Korea, Japan, and Germany).
- ITIL® V4 Master Level Certification, or equivalent.
- Five years of experience in managing Enterprise IT operations similar in scope, to the requirements of this TO, including implementation of ITIL standards and principles.
- An active Top Secret security clearance.

- Possess a certification in accordance with the DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) matrix 26 March 2025 at the Advanced level (SecurityX / CASP+, CCNA, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, GDSA, GFACT, FITSP-O, FITSP-D, GCSA, GISF, SSCP, CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, or GICSP).
- Five years of experience managing the device configuration and patch management for an enterprise operation of a similar size, scope, and complexity.
- Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience.
