SaySo is a voice-first productivity tool helping people work while on the go. We’re building a new kind of interface for the modern worker, where you can check your day, draft and reply to emails and messages, schedule meetings, ask questions, and more… all with your voice. No screens, no toggling, just talk and get things done.
We’re looking for a sharp, ambitious technical co-founder to join us on this ride and take the technical reins. If you're excited by AI, voice tech, and the future of productivity, and you want to own the technical direction of something that could scale globally, this is your shot.
✨ Your Role
Build the Product
- Own SaySo’s entire technical architecture, from backend to interface
- Rapidly prototype and test features to get user feedback early and often
- Ship the first version that users can actually use
Lead the Tech Vision
- Translate the company vision into a scalable, secure, and fast product roadmap
- Select the right tools, frameworks, and infrastructure to build on
- Set coding standards, documentation norms, and dev practices
Think Like a Founder
- Collaborate on product direction, GTM strategy, and company-building
- Balance shipping fast with building for the long term
- Bring ideas to the table, challenge assumptions, and help shape the company’s culture
Grow into CTO
- Hire and lead future engineers
- Establish SaySo’s technical foundation and long-term roadmap
- Own our AI stack, integrations, and product scalability as we grow
🙌 What We Value
We’re looking for someone who’s a mix of builder and visionary. The right person will:
- Have experience working with AI/LLM technologies (OpenAI, Whisper, Vapi, LangChain, etc.)
- Be full-stack or know how to get to working prototypes fast
- Have experience working in or around startups (or seriously hungry to build one)
- Thrive with autonomy, but know when to ask for input
- Be based in the DC metro area and open to working hybrid/in-person
- Believe in what SaySo is solving, and be excited to help lead that journey

🔝 Reporting Structure
You’ll work directly with the Founder & CEO as a true partner in building SaySo from the ground up.

This is a founding role that is equity-only to start. We’re pre-raise and bootstrapped, but once funded, compensation will scale accordingly. You’ll be granted meaningful equity and decision-making power from Day 1.
