About Scale Asia Ventures (SAV)
Scale Asia Ventures is an early-stage venture firm backing category-defining AI and enterprise software companies from Seed to Series A. We’re operator-investors with deep product and GTM experience, helping founders go from zero-to-one and scale across the U.S. and Asia. Our portfolio includes companies such as Cresta, CAST AI, Weaviate, Lightrun, Mastra, Solve Intelligence, and Array; recent outcomes include Argilla (acquired by Hugging Face), CloudVector (acquired by Imperva), and Promoted AI (acquired by Dropbox).
The Role
We’re hiring a VP to split time between investing and ecosystem/partnerships. You’ll lead or co-lead parts of the deal process while strengthening relationships with VCs, LPs, and strategic partners that create real leverage for our portfolio and the firm.
What You’ll Do
- Investing: Develop theses in vertical AI and AI infra; source founders; drive diligence (product/market fit signals, customer calls, unit economics, comps, cap table); contribute to IC; support term sheets, closes, and post-investment plans.
- Portfolio value-add: Stand up practical GTM support (customer/partner intros, pricing/packaging feedback, hiring help), track KPIs, and prepare board/operating materials.
- Partnerships & ecosystem: Build and maintain senior relationships with co-investors, LPs, and corporates across the U.S. ↔ Asia; host demos, salons, and small-format roundtables; create repeatable programs that convert to customers, talent, and follow-on support.
- Capital formation: Help orchestrate select portfolio rounds and SAV fundraising activities (materials, data room hygiene, LP communications, events).
What You Bring
- 3–5 years across IB/Consulting, VC/growth, BD/partnerships or enterprise operator.
- Evidence of leading or co-leading end-to-end initiatives (sourcing → diligence → close → post-investment/partnership outcomes).
- Excellent relationship builder and communicator; crisp writing (IC/LP updates).
