We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our team in Lima, Ohio. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support and contribute to the planning, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse projects while enhancing system performance and network functionality.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver Tier 1, 2, and 3 technical support to resolve overflow issues and complex problems.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications and Azure Active Directory systems.
• Maintain and optimize core networking equipment such as switches, VPNs, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor system and network performance, responding promptly to alerts and issues.
• Address network connectivity challenges, including IP addressing and configuration.
• Participate in infrastructure projects involving upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including procedures, diagrams, and system configurations.
• Travel occasionally to support infrastructure needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support IT operations.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent certifications or hands-on experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience in systems, desktop, or network support roles.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking concepts like IP and VLANs, and enterprise IT systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V, and cloud technologies; experience with Azure is a plus.
• Proficiency in working with network hardware, including switches, firewalls, and access points.
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills and ability to manage tasks independently.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to technical problem-solving.
• Self-motivated with a passion for infrastructure and networking, eager to grow technical expertise.
