Systems Administrator
Absolute Resolutions Corporation (ARC) is seeking a dedicated and proactive Systems Administrator to join our IT team. As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You will work with a variety of technologies and platforms, including Windows Server, Nutanix, Azure, Office 365, and more. Job Duties
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure
- Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools
- Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
- Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
- Maintain CMDB
- Provide end-user Support
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem-resolution
Skills to be Successful
- Experience with Windows Server, Office 365 & SharePoint
- Entra IdP
- Intune Deployment and Configuration
- Azure Privilege Identity management
- Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
- Ability to create scripts in PowerShell, or other language
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network-related fields are a plus
- Experience with Nutanix
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)) is a plus
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
- Valid Drivers License, travel as nessasary
- Reliable transportation
