FutureTech Recruitment is partnered with a seed-stage AI healthtech startup on a mission to build the operating system for independent private practices, starting with paediatrics and expanding into adult primary care.
Their platform automates the back-office for clinicians - credentialing, billing, scheduling, and documentation. Freeing practitioners to focus on care instead of admin. Long-term, they aim to coordinate care itself, creating a unified, AI-driven infrastructure for the next generation of independent healthcare.
About the Role:
They’re hiring a CTO (Co-Founder) to own both engineering and product from day one. You’ll define the full technical vision, build the MVP, and scale the platform from prototype to production. This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to lead architecture, build the team, and shape culture and standards across the company.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end technical strategy and execution, from MVP to scale
- Design and build the platform, integrating leading healthcare APIs (AI scribing, credentialing, billing, scheduling) into a seamless, automated workflow
- Recruit, lead, and mentor the first engineering hires while establishing best practices and high-bar standards
- Collaborate directly with paediatricians and practitioners to deeply understand workflows and translate them into intuitive product experiences
- Ship rapidly while balancing compliance, reliability, and healthcare-grade performance
- Represent the company at industry events and serve as the technical face of the brand as it scales
Requirements:
- 5 + years of full-stack engineering experience with strong technical fundamentals (60:40 backend lean)
- Prior experience as a founder, founding engineer, or early-stage healthtech engineer
- Proficiency across modern backend and frontend frameworks; AI/ML familiarity a plus
- Strong product instincts, ability to work autonomously, and deep interest in healthcare innovation
