Position Overview:
Robert Half is seeking a System Administrator for a company we are working with in the Madison area. This role is responsible for managing IT infrastructure, maintaining system uptime, and providing technical support related to Epicor and associated platforms.
This is a direct hire position that will require a hybrid work schedule in Madison, WI.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot servers, network systems, and enterprise software environments
- Provide day-to-day support for Epicor ERP users, including issue resolution and system configuration
- Work with cross-functional teams to implement system updates and process improvements
- Perform regular backups, system patching, and security updates
- Document configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
- Support desktop, server, and network environments as needed
- Assist with integrations between Epicor and third-party systems
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a system administrator role
- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP (preferably versions 10 or later)
- Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, and networking fundamentals
- Familiarity with SQL Server and basic database management tasks
- Understanding of cybersecurity practices and user access controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
