Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Google Workspace Administrator located in Delhi, OH. The Google Workspace Administrator will be responsible for managing and optimizing the Google Workspace environment, ensuring seamless operation and integration of Google tools across the organization. Daily tasks will include user account management, security configuration, system updates, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical support and training to staff. The administrator will also work closely with other IT team members to implement best practices and policies.

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Support IT Engineer with a strong background in AWS Cloud,
Google Workspace, IT Administration & Endpoint deployment/Managing. The ideal candidate will
have over 5 years of experience. This role requires advanced Excel expertise, exceptional technical
skills, and the ability to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Google Workspace Administration
● Manage and maintain Google Workspace services (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Admin Console,
Groups, etc.)
● Enforce email and document security best practices including DLP, 2FA,
SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
● Assist in the creation and management of organizational units, user accounts, and group
policies.
2. Endpoint & Gmail Security
● Implement and monitor endpoint security tools (EDR/AV/Firewall).
● Regularly assess Gmail and Drive for phishing, spoofing, and malicious file sharing.
● Configure and monitor security rules, threat alerts, and ensure compliance.
3. Domain & Vendor Management
● Coordinate and manage domain provisioning, DNS configuration, and renewal processes.
● Act as a point of contact for third-party vendors for domain, hosting, and security tools.
● Evaluate vendor performance, manage contracts, and track SLAs.
4. License Management
● Maintain a central inventory of software licenses such as Freshwork.
● Track usage, renewals, and compliance with software vendors and licensing terms.
● Optimize costs by reviewing unused or underutilized licenses.
5. AWS Cloud Support
● Support basic AWS cloud operations (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, Route 53).
● Help developers or teams with instance provisioning, permission issues, and basic
troubleshooting.
● Collaborate on resource tagging, budget monitoring, and cost analysis.
6. IT Desktop & Application Support
● Configure laptops/desktops for new hires including OS installation, user setup, and
encryption.
● Install, upgrade, and patch required business applications.
● Provide daily support to resolve hardware/software/network issues.
● Maintain IT asset inventory and support onboarding/offboarding checklists.
Required Skills and Experience:
● Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
● 5+ years of experience in Cloud, Support Engineering, or IT Administration.
● Strong knowledge of Google Workspace Admin Console and Gmail security.
● Familiarity with endpoint security solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Bitdefender).
● Experience with DNS management, domain registration, and hosting setup.
● Practical knowledge of AWS services (IAM, EC2, S3, etc.).
● Proficiency in Windows/Mac OS environments and software deployment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or AWS Solution
Architect, Google Workspace certified.
