We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead complex technical initiatives, provide consultative guidance, and ensure client IT environments are stable, secure, and optimized. Responsibilities
- Serve as the escalation point for complex server, network, and cloud issues across multiple clients
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructures including Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, M365, Windows Server, and virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
- Provide consultative guidance to client leadership and align IT solutions with business objectives
- Lead technical projects including cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, and security improvements
- Troubleshoot and optimize networking environments including firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routing with tools like Cisco, Fortinet, and SonicWall
- Mentor junior engineers and improve team technical and documentation standards
- Identify risks, recommend improvements, and enforce best practices
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of IT systems administration experience including at least 3 years in an MSP environment
- Strong Microsoft cloud and Windows Server expertise
- Networking and infrastructure skills including VMware, Hyper-V, firewalls, and VPNs
- Proven ability to troubleshoot multi-client environments and deliver reliable solutions
- Strong communication skills and a consultative client-facing approach
- Certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, or CompTIA Security+ preferred but not required
