The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the SharePoint environment, ensuring it functions effectively for collaboration and document management and acting as a technical expert and key enabler. This includes configuring, customizing, and troubleshooting the platform, managing user permissions, and developing workflows. The role is also key to ensuring security, performance, compliance, and alignment with the company’s objectives.
This position will take the lead and be responsible for resetting the organization’s SharePoint environment, creating document storage repositories for processes and client documents, gathering input and creating team sites, developing plans for ongoing ownership and maintenance, and determining what other functionalities would meet business needs.

AHP’s offices are based in Grapevine, Texas (West of DFW Airport). AHP has adopted a hybrid working approach for Teams to work in office with 2 days of remote after the first 90 days.
Your Impact
- Champion, actively support, develop, and expand usage of SharePoint as the central hub of company documents.
- Assess current SharePoint sites for content, structure, and ease of use.
- Implement best practices to design and implement modern SharePoint Online site design aligned with business needs.
- Plan and execute site migrations from existing SharePoint sites.
- Create and maintain documentation for site configurations, permissions, workflows, and customizations.
- Provide training and support to end-users and site owners.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint-related issues.
- Maintain critical planning, monitoring, and reporting processes as well as required documentation, for the timely coordination and completion of project tasks
- Assigning appropriate access rights and permissions to users and groups, ensuring data security and proper collaboration.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining workflows to automate business processes and improve efficiency.
Successful Candidate Will Have
- Bachelor’s degree in an applicable field of study and 3 years of experience creating and administering SharePoint sites or 7 years direct experience
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, administration, and configuration,
- Hands-on experience with site migrations, site redesigns, and content restructuring.
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint features including modern pages, hubs, permissions, metadata, and document libraries.
- Ability to design and implement workflows using SharePoint Designer or other tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; expert in SharePoint, and familiarity with other business tools
- Student Health Insurance experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of and ability to work with Smartsheet is desirable
