Job Description:
Position Summary:
The IAM Analyst plays a critical role within the IT Security organization, supporting the governance and operation of the company’s identity and access management program across all business units. Operating within the **Plan–Build–Run model**, this role helps ensure that access to systems, data, and applications is secure, compliant, and aligned with business needs. The IAM Analyst partners closely with Infrastructure, GRC, and Application teams to safeguard identities while enabling seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan:
· Contribute to the development and enhancement of IAM policies, standards, and role-based access models that align with security and compliance objectives.
· Participate in planning sessions to identify IAM improvements that support business initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and modernization efforts.
· Assist in defining requirements for identity lifecycle automation, access governance, and privileged access management initiatives.
Build:
· Support configuration, integration, and testing of IAM technologies such as Okta, CyberArk, Azure AD, and other enterprise authentication platforms.
· Ensure implementation of least-privilege and zero-trust principles through access design, entitlement reviews, and workflow automation.
· Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to onboard systems into the IAM ecosystem (e.g., SSO, MFA, SCIM provisioning).
· Develop and maintain IAM documentation, including workflows, technical runbooks, and process maps.
Run:
· Execute access reviews and certifications to maintain compliance with NIST CSF, SOC 2, and PCI requirements.
· Monitor and respond to IAM-related incidents, escalations, and audit findings.
· Generate metrics and reports to track IAM performance, compliance, and service-level adherence.
Qualifications:
· 6+ years of experience in identity and access management, security administration, or related IT security roles.
· Working knowledge of IAM technologies (Okta, CyberArk, Azure AD, SSO, MFA, and directory services).
· Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS).
· Strong analytical and documentation skills with attention to detail.
· Proven ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed, cross-functional organization.
Preferred Experience:
· Experience with IAM automation, IGA platforms, or privileged access management (PAM).
· Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator (SC-300), or Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM).
