Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for managing enterprise infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and supporting internal teams across the organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Microsoft Active Directory administration
- Azure administration (VMs, Entra, SSO, etc.)
- Windows Server 2022 maintenance (patching, backups, new build, updating, etc)
- Microsoft Office365 administration
- Draft documentation for technical and non-technical staff.
- Supports internal and external audits related to policy rules and change management processes for the organization.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Required:
- At least 10 years of systems administration experience required.
- At least 8 years of experience managing virtual environments
- At least 5 years of experience with Azure or AWS.
- MCSE and/or similar certifications a plus.
- Azure certifications (AZ-900, etc)
Skills and Abilities Required:
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience with Office 365, AD and MS Entra
- Must be highly proficient with Windows Server 2022
- Must be highly proficient with virtualization platforms
- Must be highly proficient with Powershell, GPO, DNS, DHCP, and DFS
- Knowledgeable of IaC (Terraform) and GitHub
Collaboration and Development:
- Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver solutions on time.
- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to team members and management.
- Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Develop expertise in banking technologies, regulatory requirements, and IT frameworks.
