Akkodis is seeking a
System Administrator for a
Contract with a client in
Atlanta, GA. Candidates must have hands-on experience with fiber/Cat5 cabling, hardware repairs, and working with OEM vendors on HP, Dell, Cisco, and SuperMicro servers.
Rate Range: $34/hour to $36/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Install, configure, and maintain servers and operating systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across enterprise systems.
- Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans to protect organizational data.
- Apply patches, updates, and security configurations to maintain compliance and safeguard systems.
- Document system configurations and procedures for operational efficiency and future reference.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management.
- Strong proficiency in managing Windows/Linux servers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with system security, patch management, and backup/recovery processes.

Pay Details: $34.00 to $36.00 per hour
