This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the digital infrastructure behind a rapidly scaling e-commerce business—supporting everything from daily operations to major product launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure & Network Management – Maintain and monitor cloud and network systems to ensure high performance and security. Configure routers, access points, VPNs, and switches to support a dynamic retail environment.
- Cloud & SaaS Administration – Manage integrations and automations across core platforms, including e-commerce, ERP, and marketing tools. Support cloud-based environments to keep systems connected and efficient.
- Security & Compliance – Implement strong access controls, MFA, and data protection protocols. Ensure alignment with PCI DSS, GDPR, and company-level IT standards. Conduct periodic system checks, patching, and backup validation.
- System Reporting & Optimization – Develop and automate performance dashboards and system reports, offering leadership clear visibility into uptime, usage, and key metrics.
- Documentation & Process Improvement – Create detailed SOPs and knowledge-based resources for onboarding, issue resolution, and system workflows. Continuously identify and implement process enhancements and automations to improve efficiency.
- Cross-Department Collaboration – Work closely with teams across operations, e-commerce, and marketing to ensure smooth integrations, quick troubleshooting, and proactive system improvements.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Experience: 3–5 years in IT systems administration, network management, or technical operations, ideally in e-commerce.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with macOS, Windows, cloud services (AWS or equivalent), Shopify and NetSuite.
- Tools: Experience with Google Workspace, VPNs, SaaS management, and automation tools.
- Mindset: Analytical, resourceful, and proactive problem solver who thrives in fast-moving, growing environments.
- Communication: Excellent documentation and collaboration skills with a strong service-oriented approach.
