We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator with a primary focus on Exchange Online to support and enhance our enterprise collaboration and communication platforms. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert for Exchange while also contributing to broader M365 initiatives involving Identity and Access Management (IAM), Copilot, and SharePoint.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Serve as the technical lead and SME for Exchange Online administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Manage mailbox provisioning, distribution lists, shared mailboxes, and Exchange policies.
- Configure and support hybrid Exchange environments (on-premise to cloud).
- Optimize performance, reliability, and mail flow across the organization.
- Manage retention policies, litigation holds, and compliance-related configurations.
- Provide Tier 3 support for all Exchange-related escalations.
- Support and administer SharePoint Online and Teams environments, ensuring integration and user experience continuity.
- Collaborate with IAM teams to maintain Azure Active Directory (AAD) configurations, including user provisioning, SSO, and MFA policies.
- Participate in Microsoft Copilot initiatives.
EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience administering Microsoft Exchange (Online and/or hybrid environments).
- 3+ years of experience managing the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint, Teams, AAD, OneDrive).
- Proven expertise in Exchange Online PowerShell, mail flow troubleshooting, and hybrid deployment management.
- Strong understanding of email authentication and security standards (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
- Familiarity with Azure AD, Conditional Access, and M365 Security & Compliance Center.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Copilot or similar M365 AI integrations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with both technical and non-technical teams.
