We are seeking a talented Cloud Architect to design, implement, and optimize our cloud infrastructure to support our client's business growth and innovation.
Overview:
The Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud solutions across our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in cloud technologies, infrastructure, and best practices. You will work closely with engineering, IT, and business teams to ensure our cloud environment is efficient, resilient, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement cloud architectures, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategy.
- Lead the migration and integration of applications, data, and services to cloud platforms.
- Develop and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance policies.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design solutions leveraging cloud-native services.
- Monitor cloud performance and proactively resolve issues.
- Evaluate emerging cloud technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Create documentation, architecture diagrams, and best practice guidelines for cloud deployments.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to IT and engineering teams on cloud technologies and practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Strong understanding of cloud-native services, networking, security, and storage solutions.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect).
- Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless technologies.
- Experience in a mid-sized company environment where versatility and hands-on work are required.
