Akkodis is seeking a
System Administrator for a
Contract with a client in
Chicago, IL(Hybrid). The candidate must have hands-on experience with SQL Server 2022 and Azure migration to be considered for this role.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator job responsibilities include:
- Administer and maintain SQL Server 2022 environments, including installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Manage SSIS, SSRS, and SSAS components, ensuring smooth integration and functionality across systems.
- Handle large-scale databases with a focus on optimization, backup/recovery, and security.
- Lead Azure migration projects, leveraging PowerShell scripting for automation and efficiency.
- Implement and support HADR solutions, including AlwaysOn Availability Groups, Failover Clusters, and Log Shipping.
- Monitor database health and performance, using native and third-party tools, and develop T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, and triggers for efficient data operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in SQL Server database administration.
- Proven expertise in SQL Server 2022, including SSIS, SSRS, SSAS configuration and performance tuning on production servers.
- Strong experience in Azure migration, PowerShell scripting, and implementing HADR solutions like AlwaysOn Availability Groups and Failover Clusters.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $49.00 per hour
