School District #6 is located in the famous Rogue River Valley of Southern Oregon, nestled between the Cascade and Siskiyou Mountain ranges. The area abounds with opportunities - natural, theatrical, musical, educational and athletic. POSITION: Yearbook Advisor - Semester 2
BUILDING: Crater High School
PAY RATE: $2868.65 - $4542.04 per semester, depending upon approved accepted experience
Essential Job Functions
- Manage students and coordinate coverage of essential school events
- Screen photos for appropriateness
- Be responsible for the transfer of images and content between the school and vendor
- Teach students to use the vendor’s yearbook creation program
- Coordinate with the vendor over the yearbook layout and design
- Edit yearbook pages for misspelling and misattribution
- Proof the yearbook draft before final submission for print.
- Function as a liaison to other professionals involved in the yearbook production
- Coordinate with students and parents to collect student quotes, photos, and congratulatory ads
- Develop and adhere to an agreed-upon timeline for delivery of the yearbook
- Produce a high-quality yearbook suitable for a variety of audiences (i.e., student, parents,administrators);
