Arena, Chicago’s next-generation esports and gaming center, is excited to invite applications for a Technical Administrator / Operations Lead to join our team and help bring our vision to life! We’re designing a cutting-edge gaming environment complete with custom-built PC stations, cozy PlayStation lounges, and a sleek, tech-savvy atmosphere. If you have a passion for creating world-class gaming experiences and a solid understanding of processor builds, GPU performance, and esports-ready setups, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee and assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of PC hardware.
- Work with vendors to source high-performance gaming components and peripherals.
- Support the build-out and technical infrastructure for the esports arena, including networking, systems, and peripherals.
- Help manage daily operations, scheduling, and the health of equipment.
- Collaborate on optimizing performance, cooling, and user experience.
**What We’re Looking For:**
- A solid understanding of gaming PC hardware, including CPU, GPU, RAM, and cooling systems.
- Familiarity with esports setups, LAN events, or gaming center operations.
- Organized, reliable, and comfortable balancing both administrative and technical duties.
- A passion for gaming culture and emerging technology.
