About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Administrator to take full ownership of IT operations for our Apex, NC location, supporting approximately 50–60 employees. This is a hands-on role where you will be the sole IT professional on-site, responsible for managing all aspects of technology, ensuring system reliability, and delivering exceptional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary IT contact for the location, managing all technology needs.
- Provide IT support for end-users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Administer and maintain Windows environments, including servers and workstations.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration.
- Perform network troubleshooting, including Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
- Support and maintain ERP systems within the environment.
- Handle AV setup and CAT5 cabling tasks as needed.
- Ensure system security and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with corporate IT teams for escalations and larger projects.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft technologies.
- Expertise in Active Directory, Office 365, and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with ERP environments.
- Knowledge of AV systems and CAT5 cabling.
- Solid troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ability to work independently and manage IT needs for a mid-sized office.
- Proven experience as the sole IT resource or in a highly autonomous IT role.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to plan and execute small-scale IT projects without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with non-technical staff and vendors.
- Understanding of network security principles and best practices.
