About Syncsfer
Syncsfer is a time-banking skill exchange platform where users trade skills using time as currency. The product includes cross-platform Flutter development, a Node.js backend, AI-powered matching, secure messaging, and scheduling. We are seeking a Founding CTO to lead all technical development and scale the platform.

Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on CTO with strong experience in Flutter, Node.js, and foundational knowledge of AI/ML. The ideal candidate can take ownership of the entire engineering function, guide architecture decisions, and lead the product from MVP to scalable launch.

Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
• Own the full technology roadmap and architecture.
• Lead development of the Flutter mobile app and Node.js backend.
• Establish engineering best practices, documentation, testing, and CI/CD.
• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and system scalability.
AI Integration
• Implement AI-driven matching using basic ML models or third-party APIs.
• Integrate chatbot solutions (Dialogflow, Rasa).
• Add AI moderation and recommendation systems.
Engineering Ownership
• Oversee full product development: authentication, time-credit system, scheduling, notifications, messaging, reviews.
• Manage code quality, version control, and technical documentation.
• Hire and lead future engineers post-funding.
Security & Compliance
• Ensure secure authentication (OAuth, JWT), encryption, and data protection.
• Maintain GDPR/CCPA compliance.
• Oversee backups, monitoring, and infrastructure reliability.

Technical Skills

Equity Compensation (Early MVP Stage)
Full-Time CTO (10% – 20% Equity)
Provided when:
• Joining full-time at the MVP stage.
• Taking full ownership of engineering, hiring, and scaling.
• Bringing strong technical and leadership experience.
• Driving rapid execution toward launch.
Part-Time CTO (5% – 10% Equity)
Provided when:
• Starting part-time until funding.
• Focusing primarily on architecture and technical direction.
• Contributing less to hands-on coding initially.

Intellectual Property
A full IP Assignment and Confidentiality Agreement is required.
All code, architecture, AI models, algorithms, and technical assets developed by the CTO must be fully assigned to the company. No external or personal IP may be integrated without written approval.
