Akkodis is seeking a
System Administrator for a
Contract with a client in
Stamford, CT. Candidates must have strong expertise in managing IT infrastructure and performing regular backups to support business continuity.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
System Administrator Job Responsibilities Include
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, networks, and IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and identify potential issues to prevent downtime and security risks.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls to maintain data security and compliance.
- Install and update software, patches, and security updates to keep systems secure and efficient.
- Perform regular data backups and implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- Respond to technical issues, support end users, and resolve hardware and software problems promptly.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure management.
- Strong expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, networks, and IT systems.
- Proven ability to implement security updates, manage user access controls, and ensure compliance with company policies.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
