About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Level 3 Support Engineer with deep expertise in collaboration and productivity platforms. This role is all about technical depth solving the toughest problems, digging into logs, writing automation, and owning the stability of Slack, GSuite, Zoom, Jira, and Office 365. Youll be the go-to expert for escalations, a troubleshooter and partner who thrives on solving what others cant, and someone who can engineer smarter ways to keep systems running seamlessly to drive employee productivity.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the final escalation point for complex incidents/requests across Slack, GSuite (Google Workspace), Zoom, ProofPoint, Jira, and Office 365.
- Perform deep troubleshooting at the application, integration, and infrastructure layers including API calls, logs, and network dependencies.
- Configure, optimize, and maintain these platforms for performance, security, and scalability.
- Write and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Python, or similar) for repetitive tasks, reporting, and integrations.
- Diagnose and resolve authentication/SSO/MFA issues (Mainly Okta, some Microsoft AD).
- Analyze system and application logs to pinpoint root causes and prevent recurrence.
- Manage and troubleshoot integrations between collaboration tools (e.g., Slack bots, Jira workflows, Zoom add-ons, Office 365 connectors).
- Drive and/or otherwise assist with SaaS application deployments, upgrades, and migrations.
- Partner with vendors to resolve critical platform issues and escalate when necessary.
- Document troubleshooting processes, scripts, and technical solutions for knowledge sharing.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of hands-on IT support, systems engineering, or SaaS administration.
- Expert-level experience with Slack admin console, GSuite (Google Workspace), Zoom admin portal, Jira administration, ProofPoint, and Office 365 tenant management.
- Strong background in identity and access management, including SSO integrations, MFA, and directory services (Okta).
- Practical knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, TLS/SSL, proxies, firewalls) as they relate to SaaS applications.
- Proficiency in scripting/automation (PowerShell, Python, or similar).
- Ability to debug APIs and integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Comfortable working in log analysis tools, monitoring dashboards, and vendor escalation portals.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset proven track record of resolving unsolvable issues. Very strong can-do attitude with a strong desire to partner with the Engineering and Security teams that we work with every day.
Nice To Have
- Experience in a SaaS, startup, or high-growth tech environment.
- Familiarity with device management platforms (Intune, Jamf).
- Knowledge of security/compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, HIPAA).
- Experience with automation and/or AI platforms.
