Responsibilities
Kforce is seeking a Systems Administrator (Infrastructure Apps) for a contract opportunity with a leading organization in the infrastructure sector in Tucson, AZ. Summary: The Systems Administrator will be responsible for the architecture, design, planning, testing, implementation, and administration of IT infrastructure and security applications. This role involves collaborating with various business units to deliver reliable and cost-effective IT solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and security. Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot server and client environments
- Maintain and optimize Active Directory, including replication, LDAP authentication, DNS, and WINS
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts
- Monitor and support Windows Server OS (2019 and newer)
- Manage server-based application architecture and dependencies
- Support Microsoft Exchange and Exchange Online
- Understand network protocols, switching, and routing
- Utilize enterprise ticketing systems
- Create documentation and communicate effectively across teams
Requirements
- 2+ years of PowerShell scripting experience
- Strong technical proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, SharePoint, Visio)
- Experience with alerting and monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance frameworks (NERC CIP, SOX, PCI, HIPAA)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Project management experience and ability to work independently or in teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in large-scale enterprise environments
- Familiarity with enterprise infrastructure applications (Microsoft 365, Cisco ISE, RSA, Splunk, SolarWinds Orion, VMware Horizon, CyberArk)
- Knowledge of enterprise batch scheduling tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
