Job Summary
The Azure Cloud Architect / Technical Lead is responsible for designing and implementing Azure-based architectures, focusing on the integration of Fabric, Synapse, Data Factory, and governance components. This role involves creating resource groups, networking solutions, and security configurations, while ensuring scalability, resiliency, and cost-effectiveness. The architect will also oversee the integration of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and provide comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities
- Architect Azure resource groups, networking (VPN), and policy baselines.
- Design the unified Fabric + Synapse Lakehouse aligned to Microsoft's best practices.
- Configure environment security (Entra ID, MFA, RBAC, Key Vault CMK).
- Ensure scalability, resiliency, and cost optimization.
- Oversee integration of IaC templates (Bicep/Terraform).
- Provide architectural documentation and environment diagrams.
Required Skills & Certifications
- 10+ years of cloud architecture experience (5+ in Azure).
- Deep knowledge of Synapse, Fabric, and Medallion architecture patterns.
- Prior experience in FedRAMP / NIST 800-53 compliant deployments.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
