We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Expert for an 100% ONSITE contract in San Antonio, TX.
Overview
We are sourcing a highly skilled Cybersecurity Expert to support members with penetration testing, remediation, and network security assessments. The consultant will work across various organizational networks, providing hands-on testing, configuration assistance, and remediation recommendations. Experience with NodeZero is strongly preferred.
Core Responsibilities
• Perform penetration testing across multiple networks and environments
• Conduct security assessments and document findings
• Provide guidance and recommendations for remediation
• Assist teams with configuration changes and corrective actions
• Support organizations in understanding risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation paths
• Consult with ARSOC members and answer technical questions related to cybersecurity and network defense
• Travel to different sites as needed depending on project needs and funding
Priorities
• Expert-level cybersecurity knowledge
• Strong hands-on experience with penetration testing
• Extensive network configuration and troubleshooting experience
• Ability to lead assessments and guide remediation efforts
Preferred Skills
• Experience with NodeZero (strong plus)
• Prior experience consulting across multiple organizations or agencies
• Experience with grant-funded or government security projects
• Relevant certifications such as OSCP, CEH, GPEN, CISSP, etc.
