Job Summary
The Systems Administrator will provide hands-on Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, support our Microsoft 365 and Entra ID environments, and ensure seamless operation of desktop systems and enterprise tools. This on-site role is essential to maintaining up-time and user productivity in a fast-paced financial services setting. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in Microsoft ecosystems with a service-oriented mindset, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a deep commitment to operational excellence. Familiarity with Monday.com is highly valued due to its central role in our loan origination and workflow processes.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Deliver prompt Level 1 and Level 2 support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software applications.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, network, and application issues with minimal downtime.
Desktop Imaging & Deployment
- Prepare, image, and deploy devices for new hires, upgrades, and refresh cycles using Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) or similar tools.
- Coordinate rollout projects to ensure consistency, security, and user readiness.
Microsoft Administration
- Create user accounts, groups, permissions, and policies in Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365 Admin Center.
- Administer and support Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
Application & Workflow Support
- Provide onboarding, training, and troubleshooting for enterprise tools, with strong emphasis on Monday.com as our core LOS and collaboration platform.
- Assist in configuring boards, automations, dashboards, and integrations within Monday.com to support loan workflows and operational efficiency.
Documentation & Process Improvement
- Maintain detailed, up-to-date documentation of systems, configurations, procedures, and support tickets.
- Develop user guides and conduct training sessions to improve adoption and self-sufficiency.
- Contribute to ITIL-aligned processes, including incident, problems, and change management.
System Monitoring & Security
- Respond to alerts and assist in incident response as part of the broader IT team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT support and systems administration roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration, including Entra ID, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
- Experience with desktop imaging, deployment, and endpoint management (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, Rippling IT).
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Zendesk) and ITIL foundation practices.
- Practical experience with Monday.com—including board setup, automations, integrations, and user support—is strongly preferred but not required.
- Solid understanding of Windows 11, Active Directory, networking fundamentals, and basic PowerShell scripting.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
Relevant certifications such as:
- CompTIA A+ / Network+
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator
- ITIL Foundation
- Experience supporting financial services workflows or regulated environments.
- Basic knowledge of Azure infrastructure and security tools.
