Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a DevSecOps Architect - Platform & Process in San Antonio, TX. Summary: We are looking for a DevSecOps Architect with strong platform engineering and process design expertise, particularly within .NET environments. This individual will define, design, and implement secure development platform standards and lead DevSecOps transformation initiatives across a large enterprise undergoing significant organizational changes. This is a high-impact role that requires strong leadership and deep knowledge of modern secure development practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and optimize platform-level DevSecOps processes for .NET applications and enterprise engineering teams
- Design secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security controls, compliance frameworks, and modern automation
- Implement and enhance DevSecOps toolchains using GitHub and GitHub AI to support secure development and high-quality delivery
- Establish and enforce organization-wide engineering standards, security practices, and development workflows
- Partner with engineering leaders to drive modernization, platform improvements, and best practices adoption
- Provide architectural guidance around application security, platform engineering, cloud integration, and automation
- Serve as a technical leader capable of influencing strategy across multiple teams and evolving organizational structures
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a DevSecOps Architect or Senior DevSecOps Engineer, ideally with a .NET platform background
- Proven ability to build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and enterprise DevSecOps frameworks
- Strong hands-on experience with GitHub and GitHub AI
- Deep understanding of modern security standards, cloud-native development, and DevSecOps methodologies
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience guiding teams through transformation or modernization initiatives
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise engineering environments
- High-level Azure certification preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
