Job Title: Senior Azure Cloud Migration Architect

Overview
We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Azure Cloud Migration Architect with deep expertise in cloud migration, DevOps engineering, and cloud-native architecture. The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading complex on-prem to Azure migrations, designing robust CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud infrastructure using Kubernetes, AKS, and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, and Azure DevOps.
This is a senior, hands-on technical role that requires end-to-end ownership of Azure infrastructure and DevOps implementation for enterprise-grade workloads.
Key Responsibilities - Lead the migration of enterprise applications from on-premises data centers to Microsoft Azure.
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation using:
- Azure DevOps Pipelines
- Jenkins
- GitHub Actions
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters:
- Container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Helm charts, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Ingress, Autoscaling
- Automate infrastructure deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools:
- Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates
- Integrate monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions using:
- Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana
- Implement DevSecOps practices: enforce security, compliance, and policy as code.
- Collaborate across engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure smooth, secure cloud migrations and platform reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud and CI/CD environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
Required Technical Skills - 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Architecture roles.
- Proven experience with Azure migrations – rehosting, replatforming, and refactoring workloads from on-prem to Azure.
- Deep hands-on experience with:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Kubernetes (Helm, namespaces, ingress controllers, autoscaling)
- CI/CD tools: Azure DevOps Pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates
- Version control using Git and branching strategies
- Strong scripting ability in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Solid understanding of Azure core services: Networking (VNETs, NSGs, Load Balancers), Storage, Compute, Identity & Access Management.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards in enterprise environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400, AZ-104, AZ-305).
- Experience with hybrid cloud setups or cloud governance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
