Job Title: DevOps Architect

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-scale DevOps solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cloud platforms, CI/CD automation, container orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code. This role will partner with development, operations, and security teams to define DevOps strategies, ensure scalability, and establish best practices for modern application delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and own the overall DevOps architecture and roadmap for enterprise applications.
- Architect and implement CI/CD pipelines supporting microservices and cloud-native applications.
- Design and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Oversee containerization and orchestration platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, EKS/AKS/GKE).
- Evaluate and integrate DevOps tools and technologies to enhance automation, observability, and scalability.
- Implement and enforce DevSecOps practices, ensuring compliance, governance, and security standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to define zero-downtime deployment strategies (blue/green, canary).
- Lead cloud migration and modernization efforts across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks to improve reliability and MTTR.
- Mentor DevOps engineers and guide cross-functional teams on industry best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 5 years in DevOps/SRE roles.
- Proven expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong hands-on knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps).
- Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming (Python, Bash, Groovy, etc.).
- Strong background in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and service mesh technologies.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, Datadog).
- Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (CIS, NIST, SOC2).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Exposure to AI/ML-enabled DevOps (AIOps/MLOps) practices.
- Prior experience designing systems for high availability, resiliency, and disaster recovery.
