Top technology incubator focused on building and investing in generation-defining companies are looking for a CTO with 7+ years experience to serve as their senior-most technical leader. This role is for a founder-CTO type who has built and scaled products from zero to one and from one to many. We are looking for someone equally comfortable in the boardroom and hands-on keyboard, who will own the technology strategy for the platform, build and lead internal teams, and work directly with founders and operators across the firms portfolio.
What will you be doing?
- Set a unified technology strategy
- Partner with founders in incubation and early-stage ventures on product, architecture, and early technical hiring.
- Architect shared systems, data infrastructure, and internal tools used across operating companies.
- Drive the development of AI agents, automation workflows, and vertical AI tools for real businesses.
- Build and lead a cross-functional team spanning software engineering, AI/ML, data, and product.
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor or Masters degree from a top 30 university in Computer Science or similar
- 7+ years of experience as CTO, VP of Engineering, or Founding Engineer at a high- growth start-up or medium-sized technology company
- Experience in incubators or venture studios
- Deep expertise in software architecture, distributed systems, and/or data platforms.
- Meaningful experience with AI/ML and modern LLM ecosystems.
- Networks in top- tier engineering and AI/ML talent pools.
This would predominantly be an onsite role in either San Francisco or New York.
Compensation is highly competitive and contingent on experience. Will include competitive equity.
