About the Opportunity
We are seeking a transformational CIO to lead technology strategy and modernization for a mid-market, services-driven, data-intensive organization. This role is focused on turnaround, application modernization, technical debt reduction, and building a scalable, AI-enabled technology foundation.
You will partner closely with executive leadership and Private Equity stakeholders to drive value creation, operational efficiency, and transaction readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a 12–18 month technology modernization and turnaround roadmap
- Reduce application and DevOps technical debt
- Modernize legacy platforms and implement API-driven architectures
- Enhance data quality, analytics, and introduce AI/automation
- Drive cost optimization and operational efficiency
- Support commercial teams with improved digital and data capabilities
- Partner with PE sponsors on value creation and future transactions
Ideal Candidate
- Experience as a CIO, CTO, CDO, or VP of Technology
- Background in services-based or data-driven organizations
- Strong track record of modernization, tech debt reduction, DevOps maturity
- Experience implementing AI, automation, and analytics
- Prior Private Equity is absolutely required
- Atlanta-based or willing to relocate; onsite 3 days/week required
