Secret Network Administrator III
Locations: San Antonio, TX OR Montgomery, AL
Duration: 6-month contract with high potential for extension or conversion
Pay Ranges (Conversion Salary)
- Montgomery: 75k - 90k
- San Antonio: 100k - 112k
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, troubleshoot, upgrade, patch, and harden:
- Routers
- Serial consoles
- Load balancers
- Switches
- Analyze and simulate network traffic to support problem resolution or test updated configurations in lab environments (virtual or physical)
- Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth; report anomalies to Government team leads
- Escalate complex network issues to Senior Network Administrators
- Develop, execute, modify, or remove scripts to automate tasks where possible
- Document all workload activities per incident or change request for audit and investigation purposes
- Notify the appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC) in writing within 4 hours of any accountable item moves
- Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair
- Must be able to obtain CCNP and have active Top Secret Clearance
