About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and self-driven System Administrator to join our IT team in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for someone with deep expertise in Azure, virtual server environments, and enterprise-level Windows infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining and optimizing our systems while mentoring junior administrators and contributing to strategic IT initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows Server environments in an enterprise context.
- Administer and support Azure infrastructure, including Azure AD Sync.
- Oversee virtual server environments using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Configure and manage Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), and Exchange Online.
- Support and troubleshoot Office 365 environments.
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and system management.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to other system administrators.
- Ensure system security, stability, and performance across hybrid environments.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience managing Azure environments and services.
- Strong background in VMware, Hyper-V, and Windows Server administration.
- Expertise in Active Directory, GPO, and Azure AD Sync.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365 and Exchange Online.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Ability to work independently and lead by example in a collaborative team.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Local candidates in North Carolina are strongly preferred due to the hybrid work model.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
- Experience in enterprise IT environments with high availability and security requirements.
