We’re seeking an experienced Strategic Planning & Risk Analyst to support enterprise risk management and strategic planning initiatives for a major nuclear energy organization. This role works across all business units to evaluate risks, improve internal controls, and support key operational and audit processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise risk policies, procedures, and risk registers
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and control evaluations
- Analyze data, track mitigation actions, and prepare executive-level reports
- Support business units with risk methodologies, tools, and strategic planning
- Coordinate with executive audit teams and maintain regulatory documentation
- Deliver training and promote a strong risk management culture
- Support the biennial nuclear refueling outage
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree + 7 years in Risk, Audit, Strategy, or Business
- (OR AA + 9 years, OR HS/GED + 11 years)
- Experience in energy or nuclear business processes (operations, work management, finance, project mgmt., audit, etc.)
- Familiarity with risk tools/software (Safran preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and presentation skills
