Salary Range: $27.85-$37.00

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs audits to ensure quality and compliance standards are consistently met.
Assists in meeting regulatory and statutory requirements by providing standardized and customized statistical data.
Responsible for trending, researching, analyzing and maintaining data bases for quality and compliance initiatives.
Provide project support to assigned Compliance initiatives and committees
Assists and supports the implementation of practice wide quality and safety initiatives
Supports Compliance and Human Resources by assisting in staff training and in-services
Assists in Peer Review, E & M audits, and other audits as assigned to include metrics reporting
Variance reporting & trending
Resolution of patient and customer service complaints, tracking
HIPAA and Compliance training, auditing
Assists in policy editing and revisions
Researches and responds to routine and non-routine inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Obtains assistant to resolve complex inquiries, in order to discuss and learn.
Other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information management or healthcare systems preferred . CPC certification preferred. Minimum 3 years’ experience in coding or regulatory audit prep preferred. Proficiency with computer systems - Microsoft Office applications, Word, Power Point, Excel required .
