In my Dell SecureWorks position as a remote, home office employee, I was tasked with developing security policies and procedures for clients and analyzing clients’ security posture as it compared to regulatory frameworks and best security practices. I also analyzed client-specific security policies and procedures and deliver recommendations to address gaps.
Working closely with technical SMEs and third-party auditors, I coordinated large-scale security documentation projects based on best practices such as PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53, HIPAA, and ISO 27001/2. Having attended the CISSP course offered by SANS Institute, I have in-depth knowledge of information security. Internally, within SecureWorks, I supported key functions for global teams, such as QA processes, the development of policies, and security report templates. My role in Global Ops also included the maintenance of resources such as SharePoint and eLearning content for global security teams.
