As the Information Security Officer, I worked independently to identify and report vulnerabilities and make recommendations regarding security topics for both Applications and Infrastructure.

I developed and enforced policies, standards and procedures which were consistent with Oregon State Police's missions and goals, State of Oregon laws, and applicable federal policies.

I represented OSP regarding information security with other agencies, including state and federal government.

I researched new-to-the-state technology, designs, modified and approved complex data system changes, created requests for proposals, selected vendors, set policies and procedures, and assessed vendor performance.
