• Successfully managed a software implementation project from kickoff to UAT to provide Interactive Voice Response service to clients of demand-response public transit.
• Oversaw final UAT and implementation of an intelligent transportation system (“Transit Master”) for use with computer-assisted dispatching and automated vehicle location (CAD/AVL) for fixed-route and demand-response revenue and nonrevenue fleets totalling ~250 vehicles.
• Collaborated with contract specialists to define scope of work and standard procedures for contracted communications/electrical technicians to support the mobile software and hardware used by the 250 vehicles mentioned above.
• Managed a rotating team of contractors to install, configure, and maintain vehicle-based mobile data technologies for 250 public transit fleet vehicles.
• Using VMware vSphere 5.5 and 6 I collaborated with peers in system administration to configure and maintain multiple virtual datacenter clusters for production and dev/test application environments in Windows Server operating systems.
• Using VMware Horizon View 6 and 7 I managed configuration and administration of multiple VDI floating pools of Windows 7 and 10 workstations for use by mobile and external/contracted users.

Change is not only inevitable, it is irrepressible. Adaptation is necessary not only for success, but survival. Individuals as well as organizations must adapt or stagnate. Technology evolves quickly, and information systems and organizational processes must continuously improve to benefit from innovation. I am excited to be part of an industry that continues to improve upon itself at a time when all areas of commerce are understanding the fundamental importance of information management, analysis, and protection. I am eager to build on my 20 years in IT from humble helpdesk beginnings to virtualization of resources and team leadership with an employer I can invest in to face the challenges of the next decades.
