About
I am currently responsible for managing and planning the integration projects of enterprise security applications and services into newly-acquired hospital systems as UPMC continues to expand in the Northeast US and internationally. Additionally, I work alongside members of the Remediation Services team in providing triage and consultation to customers across the organization to remediate identified system security vulnerabilities.
Prior to my current role, I completed a two-year rotational, leadership development program at UPMC in the IT Department. This program focused on growth as a professional and administrative technology leader across various concentrations with the accelerated development of key analytical, technical, and communication skills. My main focuses and experiences have been geared around Project Management, Process Improvement, Collaboration, Executive Networking, IT Infrastructure, Security, Risk & Vulnerability Management, Office 365 Integration, Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Azure.
Additionally, I stay fairly active in the Western PA community, volunteering as a Youth Mentor (Big) in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Pittsburgh organization. Here I provide one-on-one mentoring to help foster a positive outcome in my little brother's childhood life. I am also involved in organizations such as PA Parks and Forests Foundation, Karing for Kids, Steel City Trail Council, and Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
I was heavily involved in my undergraduate career at Juniata College, which included: achieving a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology Management, completing two undergrad internships, managing the Juniata Athletics concessions sales and operations, managing two Innovations for Industry projects with JMG Systems & NBCUniversal, and serving as co-captain of the Eagles' NCAA DIII baseball team & Treasurer of the National Society of Leadership and Success.
