About
Versatile, insightful professional with a unique blend of talents, skills and experience across IT, InfoSec/risk management, people management, & organizational development (OD). An affinity for diving into new arenas, looking for ways I can use my skills to help drive results. Proven leadership ability, organizational change management (OCM) knowledge, and interpersonal skills that not only allow me to get things done but to bring others along as I do so.
I help large organizations improve results through consultation, analysis, using various continuous improvement methods supercharged with a healthy dose of OD and effectiveness techniques. I am fun to work with as a leader, a team member and I am a sought-after professional/subject matter expert.
My past 20+ years’ work required a healthy dose of OD/OCM to overcome the hurdles of our changing world. Successes include: facilitating executive committees dealing with their top strategic risks, designing the process used to integrate programs following M&A, establishing traction and organizational legitimacy for new functions, providing OCM for IT projects and much more.
I take pride in my ability to see a need and fill it. I embrace established roles, expectations and boundaries but remain flexible if a need arises and relish the opportunity to add value.
My journey is a non-traditional one, completing BS studies in Applied Behavioral Science as part of a bachelor’s completion program, but without my AA. A manager at 21, I sought to broaden my horizons through both management and individual contributor roles, creating a rather non-linear resume without a BS. I was recruited personally for each position held after the age of 30 and never been asked (or nudged) to take a step back in role progression. I am drawn to the work rather than the title. My sweet spot is the place I am best positioned to add value and my greatest reward is elevating people and making things better.
