I am a skilled, hardworking Information Security Officer (ISO) capable of meeting company as well as personal goals. I have 10+ years experience in managing an information security program including information security policy, procedures, FISMA/NERC compliance, risk assessments, vulnerability assessments, security awareness training, asset management, access control, security control auditing, log management, patch management, media sanitization, malware prevention, IT system disaster recovery and cyber incident response. I have approximately 3 years of general IT experience as a LAN administrator, system administrator, programmer and help desk support.
I achieved a BA of Applied Science degree and an Associate of Science degree both with Summa Cum Laude honors in Computer Science. I was awarded the “Highest Ranking Student Award” from Langston University’s Business Department of Computer Science for 2000-2001. I have attended several SANS security training courses and am currently working on my CISSP certification.
