• Monitored simulated network traffic using Wireshark to identify payload transfers, URL requests, login and password information, along with other security-specific traffic.
• Identified and configured payloads based on previously enumerated focal points of vulnerability with Metasploit and SearchSploit Utilized both frameworks to initiate bind and reverse shells in laboratory settings.
• Experienced with cross-site scripting (XSS) and SQL injections in laboratory setting to enumerate server vulnerabilities, as well as configuring servers for input-validation to mitigate XSS vulnerabilities.
• Built virtual networks, virtual machines, configured availability sets, security groups, and restricted internal/external traffic on Amazon AWS Cloud Services and Microsoft Azure Cloud both platforms.
• Deployed an ELK Stack in Azure to collect metric, file, and packet beat logs. Utilized Kibana dashboard to review traffic and identify Red Team attacks.
• Frequent Red Team practice on virtual machine labs through Vulnhub, HTB, hackthissite, and similar lab environments. Familiar with both Kali Linux by Offensive Security and Parrot OS by Parrot Security.
• Strong understanding of cryptographic encryption and hashing, both symmetric (AES-128, 192, 256) and asymmetric (RSA, Diffie-Hellman), subsequent hashing algorithms : SHA, SHA2, MD, LM, and NTLM.
• Automated VM deployments and configurations using Ansible.
• Analyzed logs and monitored alerts through Splunk to identify malicious actors and developed incident response reports.
• Configured firewalls to deny traffic on hosts and networks.
• Familiar with compliance policies and regulations including HIPAA, FISMA, FERPA, and GLBA.

• Conduct investigations into groundwater / surface water interaction using thermal infrared cameras,
unmanned aerial systems (UAS) platforms, fiber-optic distributed temperature sensing, 1-D vertical
temperature profilers. Perform the field work, post-processing, data analysis, and write-up.
• Federally certified UAS pilot as well as proficient in data analysis software packages. Provide aerial
remote sensing analysis for various environmental site studies.
• Aid in the training of junior staff in field-methods associated with health and safety, environmental
sampling and oversite.
• Create and manage GIS databases for key clients and assist with groundwater modeling, figure
generation, and editing.
• Field program lead for Pre-Design Soil Investigation at EPA Superfund Site in Stratford, CT
• Assist with grant applications for DECD, EPA, and other groups providing assessment and remediation
funding for brownfields.
• Oversite and report writing for sites complying with the Site Characterization Guidance Document
published by CT DEEP.
• Generate reports for environmental sites subject to the Connecticut Property Transfer Act.
