Performing in the role of senior technical specialist in the area of computer/network security. Providing expertise in the design, implementation, maintenance, and management of technologies and processes used to ensure compliance with information security policies. These technologies and processes include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication devices, encryption, event log monitoring, reporting, incident response, security analysis and other activities in support of the corporate information security goals.
Responsibilities :
• Perform maintenance and management of assigned security technologies and functions that include firewalls, intrusion detection systems, authentication devices, encryption, event log monitoring, reporting, incident response, security analysis and/or other security activities.
• Research, evaluate, design and implement new/improved security software and/or devices that meet risk management objectives.

• Research and document Networks from a security point of view. Provide feedback based on best network security practices on possible exposures thought the network and associated security devices.
• Develop, document and implement new processes and procedures which improve the department’s ability to provide “World Standard” client service.
• At times serve as Leader with responsibility for day-to-day operations, mentoring of other team members, peer review of project work, and problem resolution related to M&A networks

• Track major service outages and other service affecting activities.
• Advise inter-department groups of occurrences and ensure progress towards resolution.

• Handle internal/external customer escalations via phone, tickets or email and escalate further any customer-related issues to the appropriate group or manager as necessary.
